International Women's Day is on Weds 8th March 2023

I have never been a feminist - Today has been a fine example of why:
I always strive for equality & lifting others up. I have spent over 20 years of my career in Health & Social care & Education - supporting others to improve their lot in life.

I do not follow. I investigate, make a judgement and voice my opinion. Some people don't like that, but it is always with the intention of striving for good.

Last week I tweeted about lifting women up and people picking their top 3 for 2023. I had a lot of replies and many women were mentioned time and time again

I made NO judgements on anyone's choices

The point was not about judgement - it was an opportunity for people to make a small gesture to recognise 3 women who they felt deserved some recognition - to LIFT UP not tear down!

Attached are all of those women.

So for the women who have vilified me today for doing "women's rights" all wrong - I say this: when you start to lift each other up and not tear others down, you will be amazed at what you can achieve.

To all the men who have supported and requested their top 3 women, I thank you for appreciating the women in your lives.
