Lima demonstrators met with tear gas as President Boluarte questioned about protest deaths

Peruvian police used tear gas to disperse protesters who took to the streets in Lima as Peru’s transitional president Dina Boluarte was questioned by the Attorney General about the deaths of at least 48 protesters at the hands of security forces in the last three months.
