Visualizing Piano with Bouncing Balls (Chopin - Nocturne op.9 No.2)

I've synchronized bouncing balls to hit the piano keys in time with Chopin - Nocturne op.9 No.2. The balls then collect at the bottom to form an image. It took me over 54 hours to create this.

There are some big upgrades on this piano printer compared to my previous creations. I can now use the absolute event time of the notes taken from SMPTE time code rather than ticks (converted to milliseconds). This allows me to use midi files with many tempo changes without the physics becoming off from the music. My script also calculates the duration of the notes, allowing me to create a particle "tail" representing how long the note is held.
