Climbing on a DMM XSRE explained - Coffee break
A rare and interesting use of non life support equipment in a scary situation.
Dan explains why he used the DMM XSRE carabiner in the recent video ‘MONSTER Cottonwood tree reductions’ . This is not an approved use of this carabiner, nor is it a common occurrence, and Dan would only ever use this technique himself if there was also an additional climbing system being used at the same time with full life support rated equipment.
