I love the saw and the gravity cart - I did buy the "laser washer" as well. A tad disappointed that the saw blade must be spinning for a laser line to illuminate.
You have to jockey your material with one hand while the other is on the trigger while the blade is running to line your mark up with the laser. Another disappointment I used the saw for the first time a better part of a day.
I went to empty the dust collector bag and the entire chute assembly fell off. The chute is plastic and attaches at four points. The upper most attach point has two Phillips screws side by side.
The attach point is plastic with not a lot of material there to accommodate two screws side by side. I think the screws were over driven and broke the attach point.
Without the integrity in the top attach point the chute tilts outward stressing the lower plastic pins - which cracked off with little effort.Perhaps Bosch can engineer a bit more integrity into the chute attachment points.
A beautiful saw came to a stop because of plastic.Bosch - without hesitation is sending a new chute. For that I am grateful.Beautiful Saw and Love the Gravity Cart!
This is my first review, as a frequent Amazon user. Purchased this saw from a big box store only because I didnt trust delivery of it, which would probably add to issues, people had with anything being out of square, flush , inaccurate, whatever.
Yes, tools and deliveries get damaged by workers regularly, but I have a little more faith in those that handle the equipment youre buying. Either way great saw.
Outstanding saw I would say.
