David Hogg you have no right to own a gun

The eternally pre-pubescent Gun-Control opportunist David Hogg just tweeted this:

"You have no right to a gun. You are not a militia. When you're talking about your second amendment rights you're talking about a states right to have what is today the national guard. The modern interpretation of 2A is a ridiculous fraud pushed for decades by the gun lobby."

I honestly don't like acknowledging this kid because anytime I do, it feels like I'm sparing with the intellectual equivalent of a 12-year-old wearing his father's suit.

But he has a big following and uses it to spew a ton of misinformation about the second amendment.

Because schools these days don't actually teach about the second amendment, I feel it necessary to take it upon myself to debunk this nonsense.

Apparently, David Hogg thinks he is smarter than the Supreme court because on June 26, 2008, in the case District of Columbia v. Heller, the supreme court explicitly stated that the second amendment protects an individuals right to possess a firearm for lawful purposes such as self-defense within the home.

If I don't have a right to own a gun, then the entire bill of rights means absolutely nothing because the right to bear arms is literally the Constitution's second amendment.

It says verbatim, "A well-regulated Militia, Being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed" you can't state it any more plainly.

It says the People. Not the government. The People. Not dogs and cats. The People.

So unless you're now identifying as a non-binary, cis-gendered dodo bird, you, I, and the rest of the people have a right to own a gun.

This is why I call David Hog eternally pre-pubescent because even at 22 he makes arguments like a spoiled child.

He doesn't even realize that he's literally saying you don't have a right to protect yourself.

The bill of rights isn't an a-la-cart menu where you can pick which rights apply and which don't.

You either have all the rights, or you have none of them.
