High stress may lead to lower cognitive function, study finds

A study published by the Journal of the American Medical Association Network found people with high stress levels were 37% more likely to have poor cognitive function. One of the study’s co-authors says elevated stress can have short and long-term effects on the ability to remember, concentrate, and learn new things.
