Journalist reveals thousands of messages from UK government ministers during 'pandemic'

Journalist Isabel Oakeshott was hired by Matt Hancock ― who was the United Kingdom's Secretary of State for Health and Social Care from 2018 to 2021 ― to write his pandemic diaries.

The book was published in 2022 and titled Pandemic Diaries: The Inside Story of Britain's Battle Against Covid.

Hancock gave Oakeshott access to all his WhatsApp messages. Oakeshott realized that she was sitting on a treasure trove of information, and decided to break her non-disclosure agreement.

She shared the message with The Telegraph who are now publishing The Lockdown Files. See:
