A Russian American Exposes the Myth of The American Dream

Katya Shanan, a Russian born American citizen, discusses her personal discovery of the real America in her book, America Which You Worship. She explains where the dream of America was born and her unbelievable journey to New York City and Florida where there was no job waiting, and she was basically out of money. She began cleaning rooms in a hotel, and after several jobs climbing the ladder, she eventually landed a job in an investment bank. The book arose from a spiritual and physical transformation.
