Biden details Medicare proposal in NYT, plans to cover costs by raising taxes on the rich

President Joe Biden said he will seek to boost Medicare funding by raising a tax on the wealthy and expanding the program’s ability to negotiate lower prescription drug prices in a New York Times op-ed Tuesday previewing his budget proposals being released this week. Biden wrote about his plan in The New York Times ahead of announcing his budget proposals during a trip to Philadelphia on Thursday.
