The video shows the Sennen Cove Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) members rescuing four Belgian fishing vessel crew members after they struck rocks in their vessel and began to sink in Land's End, Western Cornwall, England.

Land's End is a headland, tourist, and holiday complex in western Cornwall, England.

The event happened on 14th February 2023, at about 6pm, when a mayday broadcast was made.

The four crew members had to abandon their fishing vessels to their liferaft.

The coastguard asked to launch the Sennen all-weather RNLI lifeboat, which got to the scene about 15 minutes from the time of the mayday broadcast.

The lifeboat could not get very close to the sinking vessel for safety reasons. Thus, a small boat was dispatched to rescue the crew.

A Coastguard helicopter and a Royal Navy helicopter also came to the crew's rescue after the mayday call and assisted in the rescue operation.

After they were successfully rescued, they were taken by the Sennen RNLI all-weather lifeboat to the Penlee Boathouse.

On arrival at the Penlee Boathouse, the Fisherman's Mission and Penzance Coastguard Rescue Team cared for their welfare.

All the crew members are currently safe now.
