Tunisia faces economic and political struggles post-Arab Spring

A prominent Tunisian politician's daughter is urging Britain to seek the release of Said Ferjani, who was arrested by the Tunisian government last month in an alleged effort to silence critics of the country’s president. Ferjani is being held on charges that accuse him of conspiring against the state and fomenting chaos.

Tunisia has been struggling with deep economic and political issues ever since the Arab Spring, which began in the North African country in January 2011.
