Final flight.
One day, each fighter bomber goes on its last flight. This is the flight after which the pilot becomes a land pilot, like most of us. The flight after which the pilot receives the prefix "former". This usually happens in three cases:
-The pilot was screwed up, or he himself got tired of flying and plans to write off for health reasons (this element is the envy of all the infantry and for this the pilots are fiercely hated by the infantry authorities, because at any moment the pilot can turn the handle of the army),
- the pilot got tired of serving and quits at the end of the contract, (also the subject of hatred of all commanders and chiefs, although this is more than normal all over the world)
-and the pilot became very useless to the country as a result of organizational and staff measures, or upon reaching the age limit. The video is just an extreme option. The crew has reached the age limit of 45 years (yes, this is an old video, they are already serving up to 50 years), they don’t want to renew the contract beyond the limit and they leave. And what merits he has there and how experienced and combative he is. As you can see in the video, of course, they can do a little more in this flight than is allowed by the documents. And after the flight, the crew will climb onto the wing, drink a hundred and bang a glass of CZT. Of course, despite the ostentatious joy and laughter, this is a sad and sad event. The crew leaves. Then there will be a glade, then there will be toasts for health and wishes of success and all kinds of good luck, but this experienced and well-deserved crew will never rise into the sky on a combat aircraft. Then everything will be without him.
But it doesn't always end on a sad note. The pilot from the video has retrained on the SSJ100 and now carries your asses in Aeroflot. )
