Wood Turning a Bowl out of Wood Scraps and Cutoffs
This is the first bowl I've ever wood turned on my lathe! I find it so satisfying to watch the cuts being made. I made a 6"x6" block out of some pine wood scraps I had laying around, and then went to work. I mostly just wanted to try out different cuts and techniques, so I wasn't too worried with the final result. I definitely made a far share of mistakes. It ended up pretty small, but my wife is looking forward to using it as a succulent planter.
