Wood Turning a Lava Lamp

I wanted to have a red light for nighttime in my soon to be born son's nursery, so I tried woodturning one on the lathe. I think the resin looks really cool and flowy like lava, so I'm happy how this project turned out! Also I’m clearly not an electrician so please don’t copy anything I do in this video (I did tape the wires, but didn't do it on camera).
