Wood Turning a Spalted Log into a Vase

This was my first time woodturning a log with spalting. The wood ended up being super punky on the inside, but it was still a fun lathe project. I intended to make this a bowl, but once I saw the spalting I wanted to keep as much of it as possible, so that's why this is sort of in between a bowl and a vase. It's really a blase...or a vowl...or something....
