Woodturning Fail! Making a Goblet Goes Wrong

Wood turning a simple goblet does not go how I planned in this video. I thought this would be an easy woodworking project, but I was wrong! I found this log hiking, and was hoping it might look nice once I got it on the lathe. I kept being optimistic that if I got past the rot it would turn out ok. Instead I ended up making a very small goblet out of the semi-usable wood.
It's an easy lesson as a beginner woodturner and woodworker, and I still got a goblet out of the deal!
