Wood Turning a Rain Stick

I woodturned this rain stick out of 2 maple logs. It was a fun and slightly challenging lathe project, as I've never had to to connect two logs that I turned. I wish I could have made this a little bigger, but I'm limited by the size of my lathe. But it was still good beginner practice learning how to join 2 pieces of wood together. I may try this in the future using resin.
