Can a wart be beautiful?

This was my first time woodturning a big burl, and it was a bit of a challenge. A burl is more or less a wart on a tree, but usually has cool or unusual grain. This particular burl was so dry that it mostly crumbled like cork. Getting a good finish was really tricky because of how porous the wood was too. I think stabilizing the wood would have helped, but I didn’t have the materials or experience doing it. Despite all that, I still think it turned into a pretty cool salad bowl.
