Can you Wood Turn a Bowling Ball??

Ever wonder what's inside a bowling ball? This is what happens when you put one on the lathe... I saw the great Carl Jacobson woodturn a bowling ball a while ago and it looked like fun, so I finally gave this project a try. The resin was super hard and chipped out very easily, so I wasn't able to get a perfect finish unfortunately. It seems silly taking a perfect sphere and turning it into a bowl, but this was still really fun!
