Woodturning Medusa's Hair

This is the second project I turned on my new lathe. In case you missed my last video, it’s a Laguna Revo 18|36, and it’s made my woodturning so much more fun! I’ve been able to turn unbalanced logs comfortably (and safely), and make things I just couldn’t before. Check out this link to see all the details about the lathe: https://bit.ly/3AqZbXd

I showed this weird twisted tangle of roots to my wife and she said it looked like Medusa’s hair, and I agree. I had to turn pretty slowly at first, but with the help of a lot of resin, I was able to turn this log into a pretty cool vase!
