Big Log, BIG Lathe

I finally got a big lathe!! It's a Laguna Revo 18|36 and it's awesome! I've been wanting a full size lathe for a while, so I'm super excited to partner with Laguna for this big guy. It has so many features that I've always wanted, but check out this link to see for yourself https://bit.ly/3nxm1c3
The first thing I did was put this heavy, unbalanced log on it and tried to make the biggest vase I could. Roughing out of round logs on my small lathe was usually the worst part, but this time it was actually fun. I was able to go at a decent speed the whole time, and my body took much less of a beating. I have a lot more big projects that I've been waiting to do, so hit subscribe to see them all!
