Man Accused of Trying to Stab Flight Attendant And Open Plane Door

Francisco Severo Torres, 33, was on board a United Airlines flight from Los Angeles. A flight attendant believed he had tried to tamper with the emergency exit door. Torres allegedly attacked a flight attendant with a broken metal spoon. He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.
