Social Democrat politician Rolf Mützenich, who leads the SPD in the German parliament, has been visiting Kyiv for talks. He says he has been received with "great gratitude" and that Ukraine understands Germany's consultative approach: "When I am accused of wanting to bring in the whole range of international politics, I do not see that as an accusation, but rather as confirmation that it is good."
