Dumb N***a Kidnaps Male For $400 Ransom

Januario Augsto Maocha II was arrested after kidnapping a male for $400 ransom when male was lured into hotel room. The victims father was contacted the the suspect demanding a ransom payment via Cashapp. The victim's father contacted Pooler police to investigate the crime. Police searched the area that the victim could possibly be until they found the victim's car at an different location that the suspect gave. Police then located the suspect and arrested him by use of force. Maocha was charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, burglary, possession of a weapon during a crime, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, obstruction, and possession of methamphetamine.
