Rena and her mother check into a Florida hotel, but Rena is not in the system with no rooms available. Rena’s mother is feeling ill and after threats of a lawsuit, reception find a late cancellation and give room 245.

Rena's mother's condition worsens, and Rena calls reception. doctor hall informs that her mother has picked up a bacterial infection and prescribes antibiotics.

Rena returns from the pharmacy and heads to reception to break change for the cab, leaving the medicine on the counter. Rena returns with the medicine missing and the receptionist having no recollection of any medicine or ever checking Rena and her mother in.

Rena sees Dr. Hall who also claims to have never seen her or her mother before. Eventually, the receptionist decides to esc0rt Rena to room 2 forty 5.

Rena cannot find her room key, so the receptionist uses his master key to enter. To Rena's surprise, the room is unoccupied, and the furniture in the room is all different. Rena never sees her mother again.
