Can Joe Rocket Gloves compete with AlpineStars?

I normally wear AlpineStars SMX-1 Air V2 gloves, an entry level offering from a premium company. When I wanted another pair of summer gloves I stopped in at a local dealer with a good selection and tried on the Joe Rocket Turbulent and Eclipse gloves. Here's how I'm liking them and how I think they compare to the AlpineStars.
