Woodturning - The Square Plate

This week project video is a fairly simple project, ideal for woodturning beginners. Used an exotic square hardwood blank (Leopardwood) and turned it into a wooden plate / platter / bowl. To add a little twist into this wood turning project I shaped the bottom to look like it is standing on four little legs. Whilst it may seem difficult to do, it was very simple using a Dremel rotary tool. Some more sanding was needed at the bottom but the whole process did not take a long time.
