over time you just know where the grip is to draw the gun, also your middle finger with a natural hanging hand is usually at your pants seam line wich means trigger gaurd if just forward of the pants seam line when you come up your middle finger makes contact with high part of grip for a good full grip draw, similar to a fish hook, not coming over and pushing down but pulling up as like fish hook in one continuous direction
