Woodturning an extraterrestrial object what is actually a banksia nut but certainly looks rather unusual wood with green epoxy resin was looks like slime :) Casted in deep pour epoxy resin and used mica metallic powder for enhanced effect for this one of a kind hybrid wooden vase. For the woodturning part I used my negative rake carbide bits then it was sanded to 3000grit with final buffing at the end to achieve high gloss finish
