Woodturning - Burl to Vase

In this woodturning video, I transform a horse chestnut spalted burl / burr piece into a hybrid ocean blue epoxy resin vase on my wood turning lathe. It was wet sanded till 4000 grit then polished and buffed to high shine. I mixed some blue alcohol ink into the resin. This burl to vase project was inspired by the ocean and the surface of the burl was painted with UV resin using gold and green colour to reflect on some of the great colours underwater. 😊
