Woodturning – LARGE Elm Burl

Large piece of elm burl went up on the lathe to wood turn this into a nice and decorative burl/burr plate or platter. Slightly irregular thickness of the timber limited my options so decided to woodturning this piece into more an ornamental project. Finished with some Danish oil and the grains certainly popped after the first coat. Happy watching 😊
