An Alternative Viewpoint: A US China War ... Is it Realistic?

There is talk of China Invading Taiwan and the US coming to the rescue of Taiwan. Even War games are held and naturally the US wins, but all parties loose heavily.
The ridiculous part is that it is simulated if China attempts an Amphibious Landing on Taiwan and then acknowledges that other options are available.
What is waste of time, money and your own time.
