The science behind why we call it cheating on your diet! Why is it called cheating on your diet? Food is an important part of our lives and can bring us pleasure and satisfaction. Instead of using the word "cheat," which implies a sense of wrongdoing or breaking the rules, we can use more positive language to describe our relationship with food.
Who cheats on their diet men or women? To be fair, I hate the word cheat. I hate it almost as much as I hate the word diet. The words "cheat on a diet" can often lead to feelings of guilt and shame. The word "cheat," implies a sense of wrongdoing or breaking the rules or the idea that "cheating" on a diet is a personal failure.
We can savor a delicious meal, indulge in a sweet treat, and simply enjoy a well-balanced and nutritious diet. It's important to listen to our bodies, eat when we're hungry, and stop when we're full, without feeling guilty or ashamed about our food choices.
What do you do if you slip back into eating carbage? Stop calling it cheating and start calling it living and you’ll find that it’s easier to get back to YOUR way of eating to get the results you’re looking for.
