Meeting retired Border Patrol agents was an important aspect of the trip to El Paso as we looked at the border crisis. They were able to speak freely and gave us some great insight. In this clip, Steffan Tubbs sat down with Robert Velez who retired as a supervisory Border Patrol agent. He makes an interesting contrast between the border of the 80's and today.
