Christianity the ‘new hate target’ of offensive jokes: The Project panel invited to Easter services

There is a growing trend “from the left” to make offensive jokes about Christianity as the “new hate target”, James Morrow.
Mr Morrow’s comments follow The Project’s publicised apology after facing backlash over a guest making a sexual joke about Jesus on air.
“That’s Christians because Christians are the one group you can punch down on,” he said.
Mr Morrow said Sydney Archbishop Anthony Fisher wrote a “very strong” letter inviting The Project panel to Good Friday and Easter services at St Mary’s Cathedral.
“Come to Easter and learn something about the religion and learn about what you’re mocking rather than just punching the outrage button – I think that’s a good response," Mr Morrow added.
