When Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy endured 16 votes to win the Speaker position he made some concessions. There were twenty Republican holdouts that created the political theatre for those concessions. It's been argued by many Republicans that 99.9% of their agreement had already been agreed to and McCarthy should have been elected on his first vote.
The release of the Jan 6 "insurrection video" was said to be a concession that Kevin McCarthy agreed to during the stand-off. McCarthy has now said the footage is available for any media that request the footage, but only Tucker Carlson has requested it. Tucker Carlson and his team have been in possession of the footage and are no doubt going to produce the story. Will it even make a difference?
The mainstream media and Democrat politicians are already, in full throat, painting Carlson as a conspiracy theorist, a January 6 denier, and an election denier and are already claiming that any Carlson story will be debunked. On this episode of 'Our Lives & Politics' we listen to the left, and we show you their plan to discredit the much anticipated January 6 'riot' video release.
