Chris Rock breaks silence on Will Smith Oscars slap

Chris Rock’s new stand-up comedy special aired Saturday as the first-ever live Netflix streaming event. In the special, Rock addressed the infamous Will Smith slap almost a year later. He joked, “Anyone who said ‘words hurt’ has never been punched in the face”. He went on to say the slap was more about Smith’s relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith than with him.
