Can I lose weight by only eating protein?
Whilst it is true that eating a diet high in protein might aid in weight reduction, this macronutrient should not be relied upon in isolation. The key to healthy weight loss is eating a diet that is balanced in protein, carbs, and healthy fats.
Adopting a high-protein diet may facilitate weight reduction, but it isn't the sole key. If you're trying to avoid putting on pounds again, a small increase in your protein consumption might assist. Nevertheless, if you're trying to lose weight, increasing your protein intake alone isn't going to cut it. Although a high-protein diet may result in reduced body fat, doing so is unhealthy. Protein, carbs, and healthy fats should all be included in your daily diet if you want to lose weight and keep it off. When paired with exercise, consuming a diet high in protein has been shown to reduce the risk of weight gain due to excessive eating and to speed up the recovery time after exercise.
