The last modification I made was to free float the barrel on my TM-22 and I found out that there was a very loose fitting hand guard on this rifle and it was using the barrel for stability. Everyone knows that for precision nothing should be touching the barrel. I thought about how I could stabilize it a bit better and decided to drill and tap a could support screws to aid the single bolt holding the hand guard on. after this modification there will be 3 bolts connecting and holding the hand guard to the barrel nut. in this video I show the steps I took to achieve this with common tools anyone can do yourself as long as you have basic machining skills. I could have used more expensive tools and equipment to do a better job but I just wanted to show you don't have to pay someone to fix your stuff. use YouTube or tureen to learn the skill needed if you don't already have them and try it yourself. (start on a sample piece first if its your first time.)
