Greg and the crew reseeding excavated area on new purchased farm. Once we broadcast the seed with our HERD seeder onto the bare soil the true work started. We unrolled nine 1200 lb bales with our Greg Judy ATV bale unroller onto the seeded area. Next step was using pitch forks to spread the hay over the entire area. With the light hay mulch over the freshly seeded area, this keeps the ground moist to allow the seed to sprout. If you want to keep your farm profitable every year, check out my 3 grazing books that I wrote on our website: http://greenpasturesfarm.net/books/
