The Huashan 1914 Creative Park, as it is called, is located on the site of the former ... ahem ... Taiwan Province Monopoly Bureau, Taipei Wine Factory, or later Fruit Wine Factory. After that moved out of the city of Taipei in 1987, it took the city government 20 years and an occupation of the site for it to be turned in a creative park where people from all kinds of lives and from across the globe meet, think and inspire each other.
