Quicky News: Sony and Electronic Arts lose Austrian Loot Box Court Case

On Friday the District Court of Hermagor ruled against Sony the market place facilitator and Electronic Arts in one of five ongoing legal battles against lootboxes.

Note if the verdict is finalized it will affect Sony, Xbox, and any other platform facilitating the purchase of FIFA Ultimate Packs.

The verdict for the refund specified because EA did not have a gambling license the purchase was void and the money was to be refunded.
