I bet the news media got it wrong! Let's take a look at SHINN v. MARTINEZ RAMIREZ

A friend sent me an article from NPR on SHINN v. MARTINEZ RAMIREZ, a U.S. Supreme Court decisions which purports to limit an individual’s right to allege ineffective assistance of counsel. I told him that I do not look to any media coverage of a case and just accept the report. I go to the source. So, today, we will look at the Opinion on that case and try to figure out what the Court is saying and more importantly, why.
