ONLY JEWS COULD BE GUILTY OF TRANSGRESSING THE LAW- ROM.2:14 AND 4:15

The title page picture here is of my Bible. As you can see I write in it a lot. This is to keep the things God has shown me so I am immediately refreshed whenever I read through those passages. And those notes here really helped me with this message.

Here are the passages from capters in Romans that show who Paul wrote it to.
Ch.2 "For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:...Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,"
(You who are called a Jew is the audience Paul wrote this letter to in Rome. Gentiles are not Jews.)

Ch.3 "What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God."
(What purpose would it serve for Paul tell Gentiles who were never under the law of circumcision about it's advantages?)

Ch.4 "What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?"
(According to the flesh Abraham was the great grandfather to the Israelites who were under the law)

Ch.5 "For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law."
(Gentiles were never under the law)

Ch.6 "You are not under law but under grace".
(Gentiles were never under the law)

Ch.6 "The wages of sin is death(OT) but the gift of God is eternal life"(NT).
(Gentiles never received the wages of sin and death. This is what the law gave for those who were under it. And Gentiles were never under the law)

Ch.7 "For I speak to them who know the law) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?"
(The Gentile was never under the dominion of the law)

Ch.8 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus(NT) has set you free from the law of sin and death(OT)".
(Gentiles were always free from the law)

Ch.9 "Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?"
("Us" is "Jews only")

Ch.10 "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved....For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."
(Since the Gentiles were never under the law why would Paul need to say they were not under it anymore?)

Ch.11 "I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy."
(Paul here told Israelites why the gospel was also given to the Gentiles)

Ch.13 "For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
(These commandments were never given to Gentiles)

Ch.14 "I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean."
(The Gentile never thought in terms of clean and unclean)

Ch.15 "Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers."
(What profit is there for the Gentile to know this? This is what Jesus told the woman that wanted to receive something from Him when He said He came only for Israelites in Mt.15:24.

Romans was written TO Jews. And is FOR all people.
