I Am Grateful Lord

I thank you, Lord, for this new day. For the sun that rises in a bright array, For the gentle breeze that touches my face, And for the gift of life, and Your loving embrace. With each dawn, a new chapter begins, Filled with promise, hope, and endless wins, A chance to live, to love, and to grow, And to let Your grace and mercy flow.

For every breath that I take, I am grateful, For Your love, which is always faithful, For the blessings that come in endless measure, And for the gift of this day, which I will treasure. So I lift up my heart in praise and thanksgiving, For the new beginnings that each day is bringing, For the opportunities to make a difference and shine, And for Your love, which is always divine.

So thank you Lord, for this new day, And for the endless blessings that come my way. And as I step forward into this new day, May I walk in faith and trust, come what may.
