I. The History of One World Government - Genesis 11:1-6
* A. God defeated Babel, the first attempt at one world government, economy and religion
* 1. One language unifying the project for one world government
* 2. God scattered mankind by confusing the languages
* B. The kingdom of Babylon - Daniel 2:31-38
* 1. Image worship demanded - Daniel 3:4-6
* 2. Daniel’s friends refused to worship the idol which represented the world government of Nebuchadnezzar
* C. The Future Babylon one world Beast System - Revelation 13:14-17

II. Salvation Comes only from the One True God - Zephaniah 3:17
* A. The Lord God, the One Revealed as I Am - Exodus 3:13-14
* 1. He is the self existent One, not dependent upon anything or anyone for His eternal existence
* 2. He is the Mighty One
* a. Mary was told “Nothing is impossible with God” - Luke 1:36-37
* b. Quite often God places His people in impossible circumstances to show them His mighty power 
* B. He alone can and will save us
* 1. Salvation from our wretched condition of sin is what we most desperately need
* 2. The finished work on the cross is the only means of salvation
* C. As His beloved ones He will rejoice over us with singing
