Vivek Ramaswamy, 2024 GOP presidential candidate, talked to Just the News' Senior Correspondent Nick Ballasy at CPAC 2023 on reducing federal bureaucracy in Washington arguing for a renewed understanding of civil service protections.
“Article two of the constitution says the president of the United States runs the federal government, specifically the executive branch of the federal government. That means that I think a lot of those civil service protections are unconstitutional,” said Ramaswamy.
