RETICULATED GIRAFFE: Facts, Diet & Habitat Information

The Reticulated Giraffe or Somali Giraffe, is a subspecies of giraffes native to Somalia, however, it is also widely found in Northern Kenya. These Giraffes’ have a coat with large spots, and between them, there are lines that can be white or cream in color. Their body anatomy is not much different from other species except for the coat and size. They are slightly smaller in height and weight and can move at a pace of 35 miles per hour when they gallop.
