12 new stealth aircraft headed toward service

In 1983, the United States put the world's first operational stealth aircraft, the F-117 Nighthawk, into active service, beginning a monopoly on low-observable aviation that would stretch across more than three decades. In 2017, however, that monopoly came to an end when China's J-20 entered service.
Today, there are at least a dozen new stealth aircraft in active development around the world. Here's the breakdown.
